Has anyone replaced there stock radio in a "04 Ex. I need to know where the antenna connection is at. I heard it was behind the glove compartment somewhere??? If it is behind the radio, what's the easiest way to get the radio out??
I have a 2000X, but I believe the procedure is basically the same. At least on my X, the antenna connects right behind the radio, but this may be different on yours. The good news is that pulling the radio is a really easy way to check.
I believe your radio will have two holes on each side. If it does, you need to go to autozone or someplace like that and buy some DIN tools. They go in the little holes and allow you to pull out the stock radio. You could make some tools out of an old coat-hanger, but for like $4, its not worth the hassle. The DIN tools should come with instructions, or you can google it, and they will have good instructions and and pics too. Hope that helps!
