I must say, I tow a motorcycle trailer with 4 full size harleys probably around 7500 Lbs to south carolina every year, I have 4:30's and 35" tires once I opened up the exhaust and intake i could maintain 75 through the mountains, it would down shift out of overdrive on the steeps but it would have no problems at all. Without trailer i can stay in overdrive all the time at 75 to 80

Hey Krewat, My superduty is really sloppy shifting into 2 and 3 gear under heavy accelation, feels like a slipomatic, could that be caused by a dirty maf, I just figured it needed the typical rebuild at that mileage, it did come on rather fast, the truck runs great and has always been overly maintained

On the 01' 2V V10, there is a ticking sound kinda loud on drivers side. Once it warms the noise dissipates. I am getting between 18.6 and 24 mpg which I was told was awesome for that setup. It's a 4x4 250 heavy crew with long bed. It has plenty of power, but I can't figure out the noise, at first I thought it was lifters, but the noise does not speed up when the rpm's go up, so it's not the lifters. Only when cold or if shut down long enough to cool down, not cold, but not up to normal operating temperature. Any ideas. I really like my truck. Still looks like the day it was new. It has 136,000 miles. Regular maintenance and oil changes. I am a bit **** about that one, but it's important to keeping engines at their optimal peak. Engine compartment also still looks like it did when it was a few months old.
