I was digging around in the 10 year old receipts I got with this project and found from Sacramento Vintage Ford: Axle Housing Gasket -Spicer 1952-56
and also brake shoe hardware kit 1948 - 60, and also Flange to Plate Gasket 1948 - 60.

I think that you are right on with the Dana 30 ID. It must be a military rear end.

Just an update....I was asked here if they were finned..... not being a mechanical genious ; I said yes,,,,but I should clarify that they have raised "ribs" on the outside circumferance of the Drum not the traditional fins. Drums are 11" diameter.
I tried to get an inspection cover gasket today a South Austin Auto parts and after they went thru all of their pictures.....they came up empty handed. They came close but the differance was on the wide span between the 2 vertical bolt holes on each side. What a mystery.
