Anywhere to wheel in WI?

Man I have to admit, when I lived in IL I could find offroading spots all over, since I've moved to SE WI I haven't see jack squat. What's really odd is that I used to live near Joliet, a heavily populated area. Does anybody know of any spots in this corner of the state to play around on? Am I alone with this dilemma of no place to play locally?

Seems like that's true if you're willing to drive a few hours in ANY direction from SE WI. I was wondering if anyone had some good spots local. Right now I hit Indiana for most of my 4 wheelin.

Off road club in Janesville, Wi. That is south centeral Wisconsin. I have no idea were they wheel or really how to get a hold of them, but asking a club like that might give you some answers.

I rode the Cheese county trail with the wife today out by Monroe. It offered no challenges but it was nice to get out and ride a little. We rode out to Darlington and had lunch at a nice little bar. Very nice people out there. Reminded me of how bad people suck here........ lol!

I think it's getting pretty safe to say that there is no place in SE WI. It's a shame too because there's similar rail bed down here like the cheese county trail but the damn horse riders won't have anything to do with sharing it. Makes no sence to me why a few horse riders should control a trail that would be enjoyed by ATV riders several times over.

Your right no place to legally wheel in S. WI. Head usually to The Badlands, McCaslin, Cliffs Insane and then usually a few longer trips a year...this year looking at Hannibal Rocks in MO in April and then a week in Colorado wheeling. There are a few of that usually get together in Oct and wheel the weekend at McCaslin.

I dont know any PUBLIC places where anyone with anything can come and wheel. There was a farmer in Darien that had a nice bogish run but for some gay reason the county shut him down...but ppl that are close(or if you bring a six pack) can still wheel there. Just not to big of crowds...stupid popo suck in WI.
