I just got a look at the title for a F250XL (351, auto, 4x4) that I want to buy and found out that it is really an '88 model and not an '89 model as advertised.

Just curious, are there any real differences between the two model years?

I need a few interior pieces (seat belts, parking brake, dash pod, etc). Do you know what years are interchangeable?

Very little difference in them. I think the E4OD was first offered in the 89 model year. Somewhere around 88 and 89 the 351 was finally offered in Multi-point EFI.
