Kill Switch Wiring

I need help figuring out how to wire in a kill switch on my 78 F-250. From some snooping around on the internet, it sounds like wiring one to the coil would be a good way to go, but I have no idea which wire to tap into, and what kind of switch I would need. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Find the red/green wire going to the coil +(you may have another wire going to the coil +, take it off too.), and take it off the coil. Splice it(and the other wire if you have one) to a new wire that runs into the cab to the location of your switch. Install another wire from the switch location back out to the coil + and hook it to the coil + terminal. When these two wires at the switch area are together, the truck will run. When these two wires at the switch are seperated, the truck will crank but not start.

Go to the autoparts store and get an automotive type switch of your choice with two terminals on it. Put the wires on the switch, and it should work.
