303 Relay as a kill switch

I saw the post wiring the 303 relay through a switch to use as a kill switch.

I was wondering if the 303 relay in a 2006 F250 diesel would work the same?

A little more research shows.....

the FICM relay is 304. If the IDM works....I am thinking....if I wire the FICM relay the same it should act as a kill switch....Can anyone confirm? Also, would like to know no harm that can come of it?

As long as the rig won't run itself out of fuel trying to start you should be fine. I know almost zip about the 6.0, sorry I can't be of more help.

I have the same question for my 2003 5.4L F-250.
I only have an FICM, and it's a 10A minifuse, not a relay.
That just makes my job easier, right?
