Shackle Flip?

Can I get 4 inches out of my 87' F150 with a shackle flip? I just want to lose those stupid blocks.

hardly! i got maybe 2.5" out of mine and my shackles were perferctly vertical when i was done, and they shouldnt be! i'd say still go with the shackle flip just use a 2" block instead, less the better!

Shackle flip the rear and drop the front rear hanger down too ..your going to have to beef it up though.

you can get 4-5 inches of lift with the flip. using the stock hangers ya 2.5 inches about it. look at the other hangers at the other end of your rear leafs the forward hanger. get a set of those from the wrecker. thats how to get 4 or more inches. leave the wedge out and pinion angle is just about right. don't really recommend any heavy towing with a shackle flip.

Your dang right on that one........Id do like above with the other wrecker/donor hangers..But Id slide the front hangers forward or back once you get the rear bolted or welded in..And then spot weld the fronts when you get the truck level...It might be the fastest cheapest way to level these trucks out...I got 6-7" out of mine and the center of the hear hanger is off...So I have to move my fronts back 4"...Which should net a 5" shackle flip...Driveshaft might need attention afterwards...I changed my rear over to a D60...Big diffence in length...
