A guy I work for has a 7.3 nonturbo ford F250 sitting at his house and since I like to tinker with mechanical stuff he let me look at to see what the problem was with it. It hasnt run for at least 3 years because that is how long he has had it. Some people drove it from Texas and made it to Indiana where they said it just died. We replaced the batteries and the engine will barely turn over if that. Is it the starter? Is it locked up? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I believe that the batteries are 900. My teacher at school has the same truck and the same batteries so I almost certain that it is the starter but I just want to make sure before we spend $100-150 on a starter.
