Found a good size nest on top of the engine plenum. Fuel seemed to be spraying out of an over flow tube(passenger side)? Dripped all over my new driveway. Could the little critter have blocked something and caused this to happen?
No, a mouse could not have fit anything up that tube. That is the fuel bowl drain valve that is leaking. With the recent switch to Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel (ULSD), there have been masses of PSD owners who have had fuel leaks in the exact same spot. The o-rings are shrinking with the introduction of the new fuel, and causing the leak. Look to the left at the sponsors, DFuser sells the o-ring kit to repair it.
As far as critters in the engine bay, it happens. I once found a bee hive that tried to make the stock airbox their home. That didn't last long.
Not sure what the dealer will charge, but you can do it yourself most likely. The o-rings are cheap, and it's just a few screws holding the valve in place. If you look through the recent threads, you're bound to find a few going over how to replace the o-rings. Like Pocket said, it's been a real common problem, lately.
