6.9 fuel problem

Hi all, about 3 months ago my 6.9 started "bucking" at steady crusing at about 45 mph. It ran fine when under acceleration and deceleration butat a steady 45 it would buck wildly. Since then it has deteriated in performance to a point that it wont idle long before it dies. I changed fuel filter (twice) but no difference. Today I removed the complete air filter unit so I can get a better look and I noticed several fuel leaks from the high pressure lines entering the injectors. I suspect this is the problem or maybe the fuel supply pump may be going (or both). Is it possible to use a sealant on the high pressures or will I need to replace the lines totally? One guy on e-bay has the lines I need but the price is steep @ $45 ea. Does anyone know of more reasonable ones somewhere?
Thanks All and merry Christmas to you

Best to change lines as the high pressure will blow off any surface fix. You might try a local salvage yard locally.

Are the leaks from holes in the lines, or are they cracked at the fittings? Have you tried tightening the fitting nuts?

Thanks for the quick replies guys. No the lines dont have any holes in them, the leaking is comming from the fittings at the aft side of the high pressure lines entering the injectors. seems like they are leaking thru the threads so I did try tightening them but still leaking and bubbling slightly.

You're sure it is the metal lines and not the plastic caps & rubber hoses for the fuel return lines?
