I want to install a locker of some kind. But I need to know what the id tag info means. The tag is stamped s810p 3.55 886e02. I have not been able to find any website where I can get this info. Any help would be appreciated.

You got 3.55 gears there -- the rest I have no idea about, but it's probably irrelevant, anyhow.

The only thing you need to know is the axle spline count and if you have a truck then they will be 31 spline axles.

I believe there would be an "L" after the 3 55 if you had the locker...looks like you don't.

The L would be as follows, 3L55 for a trac loc and if no trac loc then it would read 3 55
