I have used it on my grille guard and step bars. Prepped with 80 grit or so sand paper and then cleaned really well with acetone. IT fades a bit but has stayed on really great for over 2 years now. Only place I had it peel off was where the paint was already peeled off the step bars. The directions say it has to have paint to stick to and they are dead right. I think I am going to try and paint it gloss black to get the color back and see how that works.

You should get the Hurculiner UV topcoat to bring the color back. Besides my bed, I have done my rocker panels and the bumper I built with the UV stuff over the top and looks the same as when I put it on 1.5 years ago. is $25-30 a quart which will do an entire 8' box.
