New navigation maps
I have a 2004 Expedition EB with the factory Nav. I am considering getting a new set of map CD's from NavTeq to update the set that came with the truck.
On the NavTeq website, they state that there is a software application CD required for my truck. Has anyone done this software "update"? Is it hard to do?
I'd like to get the new maps right away as there have been a lot of road changes / new developments in my city. Or should I wait for a newer release from NavTech? My current map is v.2002, and the one they have available on the website is v.2005.
Any insight appreciated!

I have a 2003 Navigator with the CD navigation.
I updated with a new set of CD's from Navteq...they include the software CD and it's a no brainer. Stick it in the slot, it performs the upgrade and your set to go.
I am happy with the upgraded set, lots more info.
