Ya the back tank takes forever to fill with the extended filler neck to the center rear. I dont think I moved a crossmember. Its been a long time since I did all this.
i like the rear tank from a suburban option, just wondering about an ideal solution to the gauge issue.
nice to see dennis weigh in on the highboy subject with such nice facts, figures and brochure pics!
i dont know if my rear tank is an 18 or 19 gallon. it is from a 77 f250 2wd camper special extended cab 460 truck. from front to back the height changes, like a wedge (original orientation) that makes it a bugger to mount when turned 90 degrees. I do not like this setup, as the weird shape has made my mounting a little more precarious than i would like in the long term.
