automatic lockers and limeted slips in 2wd are scary in snow and ice becuse if one tire starts spinning the other one w/traction engages and you spin a brody w/out trying. Put better tires on and some weight to the back.
do you have a 9" or dana 44? i think they make an aussie locker for both, and im putting one in the front of my f250 with a d44... theyre just a little over 200 dollars and work better than a limited slip
www.offroadlockers.com is their website its going to be fun when i finally get my truck done... but its still probably a year away from being fully complete because of a few special things im doing to it like a 545 stroker running on propane... its also getting a spool rear and 4 wheel disc brakes, 4" full spring lift, then the last thing im getting is 17" rims and 37" tires

i ran my truck with lockers in 2wd (front drive shaft isn't installed) the other day through the lawn with my small tires on (28's maybe) and i got stuck with 1/8 of snow on the ground and 1" of mud below. i think tires and weight are the things you should spend your money on.
