I'm not worried so much about the tailgate getting stolen. What i am looking for is a set up to have the tailgate conveniently unlock with the doors. I'm just hoping one of these set ups mentioned works for a Crew Cab Long Bed!

Yes, the Pacer Edwards one does. You might need an extension for the electrical cord but you can call them to discuss it.

They do sell a wiring extension for the CC LWB, but it was just as easy (and IMO a better way) to simply cut/solder/heatshrink your own wire on to it. I cut the wires about 3" away from the selonoid and ran it from there.
