another problem !!!!!!!!

Ok, I have the 95 f350 crew cab 7.3 psd. My brakes, the pedal is spongy and goes almost to the floor. If i pump it while its running it gets hard and slowly depresses to the floor. With the truck off you can stand on the the pedal with two feet and it will not budge , stiff as can be. I went through two rebuilt master cylinders and i went buy a brand new one from the dealership. Bench bled and line bled all master cylinders several times and still same problem. allfluid stays in the reservoir, no broken, leaking or cracked lines. Any suggestions? Thanks, Wayne

yeah adjust your rear brakes up real good. this very common on these trucks and there is very little you can do about it other than keep the rear brakes adjusted up good. There is sometimes an issue with the rear abs valve. you can build a brake line to bypass it but chances are you won't notice any difference.

Thumbs up Easy to do - makes a big difference

Get the rear wheels off the ground, put it in neutral so you can spin them and then use a brake tool or flat blade screwdriver in the little horizontal slot to turn the adjuster. I think if you pull the driver up it tightens and down loosens. You can tell. Adjust a little and then spin the wheel. Keep doing that until there is a sound of the shoes against the metal drums and then a little bit more until there is a TINY little bit of drag. You will notice a big difference while driving if your rear brakes are adjusted properly. Of course do both sides and this will individually make them right and also will balance them out so they have even pressure to both wheels. Results in a good feeling pedal and a nice straight stopping effect with your truck.
