53 grill
Well, I drove about 300 miles today trying to get a grill for my '53 and didn't have any luck. The yard I went to had a '53 with a grill on it, it just happened to be a '56 grill :-X23. Anyone have a suggestion on where I might find a grill for a '53? I also need the metal deflector below it. I have a '54 grill in great shape that I would be willing to trade if anyone has a '53 and needs a '54.

Sorry to hear about your bad luck with the 53 grill. I am interested in your 54 grill though. Mine is in worse shape than I thought and I don't know if it's worth fixing. Let me know if your interested in selling it outright.

There is also a company that makes fiberglass griles which i can't recall at the moment.

Too bad. I needed a 54 grill for my 54 (4 years ago), couldn't find one so traded a used gas tank for a 53 grill and installed it. So my 54 has a 53 grill and a 52 tailgate.

Well, my '54 grill will be available as soon as I can turn up a '53... Keep me posted on that garage Sams53, I am definately interested...

53 grill
Well I have orig. brake drums, carbs, starters & generators (all for 223 ci I-6), original 223 (runs great), 3 spd & 4spd tranny, 2 rearends, complete front axle and suspension (inc. steering), steering column & wheel (pretty good shape). Theres probably other misc. stuff that I got in the deal also, let me know if theres anything else you need (no body parts worth saving though..
