Oh yeah sometimes air gets trapped in the heater system, so make sure you turn your heater on when you are purging air from the cooling system. Also did you change the temp sending unit? if you did which one did you change, because there are two. One is two porng on the heater pipe, the other is single prong on the lowe intake. The single prong one is for the gauge. This is the one that will cause the fluctuation.

Well as it turns out the new thermostat I installed stirred up a bunch off sediment in the system. Most likely from being open all the time. I think that now that it was pressurizing more it pushed out a bunch of crap. I flushed it agian and the problem went away. Now the gauge is right around thte O to dead in the middle at the highest. I knew something wasn't right. Thanks for the Help All....
