Currently in the process of doing mine. Not because I have to, but because I am switching out the leafs with a set off a 77 F250, and that bolt in the bushing on the front of the leaf WILL NOT MOVE.
You will have to press them out. Usually just the inner sleeve and the rubber will come out. There is an outer metal sleeve that will probably stay inside the leaf. Take a sawzall and carefully cut 4 notches on the inside of that sleeve, and then pry the pieces out. It's a PITA, trust me. The hardest part is cutting the bolt that hold the front of the leaf on. Cut inside the hanger. Buy about 10 sawzall blades!
