89' 302 Performance Upper Intake

I'm sure this has been talked about on these forums but the search function isn't working for me.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knows of any aftermarket intake manifolds for the 302 that they put on a Bronco and what the results were?

I know I've seen an Edlebrock Upper intake but I can't seem to find it anywhere now.

to be honest the 302 intake already flows really well. it out flows my 5.8 intake. not much to gain over what you already have. Have you made any exhaust changes yet?

For exhaust I have true duals flowing through flowmasters (I forget what type).
I plan to but some shorty headers eventually too.
They sell for around $150 - $200 which aint too bad.

The reason I figured on getting the aftermarket intakes was b/c My lower is cracked in the back and every year or so it starts to leak. I figured if I was going to buy another intake, why not upgrade it.

The only one that I found was made by edlebrock. They make an upper and lower intake and a throttle body.

The intake seems like a good price but the throttle body seems way too expensive.
It's almost the same price as both the intakes combined!!

if you wanna upgrade locate a gt40 lower and upper. you want long runners for a bronco so this would be another option. but i wouldnt go with that intake/throttlebody. just not worth while to me. spend that money on headers like some gibson, jba, edelbrock, bbk or bassani. dont skimp on headers it will bite you in the end

I would agree a gt 40 upper and lower are great had them on my mustang. Got them off e-bay for cheap also they were from the v8 explorer. they had a gt40 motor in then, so intake ,heads and even cam were better then stock 302 parts.

Will a GT40 lower and upper fit in a Bronco with all the other stock items?

If there is anything that may have to be modified, what is it?

How bout the throttle body?
Do I need the ond that attaches to the GT40?

Should the explorer parts fit my mustang and bolted right up.
