Heater Problem

I got a problem with the heater blower. I think it’s the squirrel cage. If I turn the fan selector on the last two settings is sounds nasty loud and I can feel a bad vibration. How hard is that to fix. Maybe some scews loose? 03’ superduty F250,6.0 65,000miles Thanks for any help.

Might sounds like an idiotic answer, but I had that happen once and I gave the unit a smack and it went away. Don't ask........... but it worked.

You may have some debris in the fan causing it to be off ballance and scraping against the case. I had a Tbird that did that, hitting the dash worked for a while but the problem just got worse.
