damn it, you never know what you can screw up just installing mirrors
but i have my hopes that it might be just that ground connection or that power wire, otherwise im in for a new PCM, what a ball,

Pete, will it start at all right now?
If not, when you turn the key to RUN, does the WTS light come on as it should?
If it does, that would indicate to me that the PCM is good. If it doesn't, then the PCM or one of its fuses are probably bad.

Yeah Pete, lotta indicators there. WTS light, fuel pump running, power to GPR etc. If this is happening, your PCM is likely fine. These are commanded on by the PCM, not the ignition switch, well in conjunction with it, but by the PCM.

yeah guys , i get all as normal, nothing diferent, just like i would turn the key off, or maybe more like ran out of fuel, but its starts right away without cranking it over for to long, just normal start,,,ill check the wires now, and ill post back , ill be driving it shopping later, and ill see if it happens again

ok another thing is, i just nipped the power cables to my mirrors to make sure this is not causing a problem and i did change the ground to a diferent spot, , can you guys tell me where would be a good place where i can tap in to for heated mirrors? so i dont overload somthing,

still nothing, i changed ground position, and took off my power to the mirrors,
left the house and within 1 mile DIED 3 times, no SES light nothing , just battery light, than just turn the key and bia$%#^ starts right up
i dont know anymore
just put the fresh fuel with aditive and died when i got home on my driveway
still starts right up
damn thing
i love the truck but its starting to scare me

Sounds kinda like someting is causing a current drain or ground loop and the pcm is reseting. Do you have a way to monitor PCM voltage while running?

i can , where should i monitor it?
and what should i look for,
this whole thing started right after i did my mirrors

maybe i should just completly disconect them and see what happens?

ok its fixed, my F5 chip cable was causing it, it was getting interferences from the power cables or whatever was around it, put the shield over it ground it to chasis and done, i has been a good baby now,
