I came upon this forum cuz I was doing a online search trying to drive on ice out of my area. I never made it so still at home. I live in Polo, Missouri. I own a
1992 Ford 150 2x2 and a 1992 2x2 Ford Ranger.
Hi buddy, glad to have you, if you have any questions or opinions just jump right in. Were a pretty close bunch, sorta like family, "heck", we even fight like brothers sometimes ha ha, but it's all good in the end. Welcome to the site !!!!!!!!!
I guess I should explain in a profile I am a woman. The guys in a group I am on shorten my Jacqueline to Jacq. So its stuck to me now. Thanks for the welcome. I plan on just walking from Polo to Richmond so I can keep my job. This lake has a bad case of hard packed ice. Thanks for the welcome~~
I supose you can still be a buddy woman or not, it's good to get some gal's. With the kind of wheather you all are having, do you think it's a good idea to be out in it? It seems you employer should understand these things since it's a state wide storm. There's lots of jobs, but you only have 1 life. Think this through before you get crazy on us, we just got you , we do want to lose a new memeber allready. BE CAREFULL !!
LOL, your so right. I just wanted to make sure you knew I as a female, LOL. I had the weekend shift which is 12 hour shifts. I did get out of the lake but got stuck right up the slant before the hill curve and put the brake on ice Walked back down and there was neighbors coming out that were watching me stop on the ice. So the guys took the truck back down and went out of the lake for me. I now park on the farmer's side in the back here for now. Stayed with the co worker last night so we could end the weekend without too much driving around. You know what happens when you make up your mind, you just do it, LOL. And I was determined to get out of here onto my paycheck, LOL.
