Question mods

I am aout to embark on a mod journey. I do have a question though. He is my plan , Right now i have a stock 2002 psd (7.3) crewcab. I plan on adding in this order, AIS intake with fender mod, triple guage pillar (dipricol) 4 inch exhast, and tuner.
The question I have is on the tuner i was going to go w/ a predator, but the post suggest dp tuner is best. I dont understand a few things on the dptuner. does it change anyof the warm up/cold idle featue? (high rev). I tow a 13000 lb camper and want to get the best setup i can. Any help Jeff.

You look to be right on the mark and doing it in the right order. You will find many a prior Predator owner here that will tell you the DP unit is far superior. It will not alter any of your warmup features unless you order the high idle tune. Your tranny mod should come next on your list, though you may get other opinions. If you go that route, get the Valve Body or whatever you plan to get before ordering the chip so it won't have to be re-flashed.

That is the order I would recommend. You may also want to consider a performance compressor wheel and Big Head actuator for the turbo. Also you are towing heavy enough where you could also benefit from a 6.0L intercooler install and 1.0A/R exhaust housing for hte turbo as well to maximize your performance gains and keep EGTs in check.

I am a former Predator user and it does not hold a candle to the DP-Tuner!! Jody will recommend you get the BTS valve body and it is worth every penny. They also will not affect the normal high idle or the EBPV(warm-up features) during cold start-ups at all.
