wiring a c4
I have a 1974 -351w with a c4 trans in my 58 f100. the wires on the trans were all cut..where can I find a diagram to connect those. one is to keep theit from starting in all gears and goes to??? what are the others and where do the go??? Thank You

He is talking about the wires for the neutral safety switch and the backup lights.
if memory serves me right their should be 4 wires. 2 wires for the neutral safety and 2 for backup.
i don't have a wiring diagram handy (but any wiring diagram for any ford vehicle probably from 69 - early 80's will work as the switches were all pretty generic as far as function), but you can see what two wires are open in park and neutral and that is the neutral safety and gets wired in series with the start wires from your ignition switch.
and of course the backup wires will be open in reverse.
if you still require a wiring diagram, i will copy one for my 79 ford truck, it should be close enough to work.
