Bank 2 sensor 2 wiring

The wire must have gotten caught around the front drive shaft as it is missing from the sensor forward. The sensor wire is all there, but I don't know where the missing wire went to going forward on the vehicle ( 2001 expedtion, 5.4, auto trans, 4x4) I cant replace(fix)until I find the other end.

Usually the heat resistant wire is already attached to the sensor and extends 3-4' max to the oblong connector. It shouldn't be too far up the drivetrain line to see. That connector doesn't disconnect easily by itself and the end of the wire, may still be connected.

Sensor and plug are all there,+ about a foot of wire past the plug, but that is all.

The B2S2 wiring seems to be quite a bit back to have been damaged by the front drive shaft. You sure someone didn't unplug it, move it out of the way, and then forget about it?
