Thanks for the info man! And Im glad you posted that link to DixonBros. I have been looking for a long travel kit for my F150 for a couple months now. A little pricey...but Im sure it's well worth it.
Sorry if I'm misunderstanding your question. I can't answer the tire size question, but the wheels from a '92 will not bolt onto a 98. Different bolt pattern and mounting style. Sorry.
I have an 99 F150 and changed the tire to a different series tire. If I recall, the stock tires were 255/70. I changed them to a 265/75. Basically, the 265 is the treadwidth in millimeters and the 75 is the percentage of sidewall height to treadwidth.
In my example:
Before: 70% of 255 MM x 2 + rim diameter = total height
After: 75% of 265 MM X 2 + rim diameter = total height
Sorry if I'm misunderstanding your question. I can't answer the tire size question, but the wheels from a '92 will not bolt onto a 98. Different bolt pattern and mounting style. Sorry.
Well dad-gum... lol.
I figured they would, but oh well. So much fer that.
