Ordered me an '08

OK, I'm with Banksstroker, I'm obsessed with getting my new '08. When I saw his thread on the plant shutting down last week, I was really bummed.
The thing that gets me is that I called my dealer today (Jan 15) to get a status, I figured with the information that Banksstroker provided that the build would be delayed at least two weeks. But, my dealer told me that my truck was built last Monday (January 8). Now, I have no reason to doubt the guy, (he was reading the information off of his current sheet). I've ordered three trucks / SUVs from him in the past, so he's not going to steer me wrong or blow sunshine. And, he still has an estimated delivery date of January 29.
Has anyone heard from Ballbandit? Since he works there, he can confirm or deny what actually happened last week.
I can't wait until they ship!

Its killing me. Ordered my 08 F450 KR mid december. Dealer says mabye sometime in March. My luck it will arrive while I'm on vacation.

Welcome Blown65Stang, may you enjoy the stay and info here...BallBandit should be making his appearance sooner or later, he doesnt disappoint.

I had no idea that 08s were getting built already (Not that I ‘m planning on one). Came to know about 08s through EBay. ALL THE BEST

I have ordered as well.
F350,KR, DRW,CC,4x4, PSD. We ordered Dec 18th. Our ordered was pulled and VIN assigned right before Christmas. Build date is supposed to be Feb 5th according to my dealer.
I really need to sale my 00 F250, but with the shipping delay etc, I am afraid to go ahead and do so as we need it to pull our 5th wheel.
I guess we are just like everyone else. Just hurry up and wait.

Someone on another forum reported that he received a email from his dealer this morning that his truck has shipped. It is a F-450 Built 1/8 with a ETA week of 1/22. They must be trying to make some room to continue production.

Good news here!
I Spoke to my Dealer this afternoon, he provided me my trucks BUILD date and estimated delivery!!
Also got my FULL VIN number! My F450 is to be built the week of Feb 12th, build takes 3 days. I should expect to take delivery the end of February first few days of March.
It would appear the release of this truck is on it's way..........

Well, I talked to my dealer today. I want to get a shipping confirmation so that I can start to sell my 2001 F150 SuperCrew. From what I'm seeing, I'm not going to get a whole lot for it. Anyway, the dealer's still showing that it was built on January 8 with an expected arrival date of January 29. He does not have confirmation that shipping has been delayed, but it's not showing up as shipped. He still thinks that it will show up next week, but I'm not too sure. What it does tell me is that Ford doesn't necessarily keep up with updating their system. After hearing what Ballbandit and Banksstroker have said, I think that my KR is still on the lot in Kentucky. I sure hope the dealer is right though, but that's a fool's hope.

It's Shipped!
Thank you PowerStrokeHD for letting me know that my truck's been shipped out from KTP on Jan 27 with an ETA in San Diego, CA Feb 13. 
My dealer also called this afternoon too to let me know of the status change. Bummer though, the registration on my F-150 is due tomorrow and I was hoping not to have to shell out the cash for nothing.
