TUFELHUNDEN....My vote is for the AIS, see my mods below. I've had stock, 6637 aka "kwik filter", and the AIS. I like the flow and the size if the filter on the AIS.
Grady, on the 7.3L the best 2 suggestions I can give you would be the AFE Stage II which is the most expensive of the CAI on the market, but also the best filtering and most inclusive system as well. I highway driving conditions the standard blue filter combined with an AFE prefilter is the ticket. EXCELLENT filtration, and thanks to the prefilter very very little cleanup. If you are offroad on a regular basis (Daily) the step up to the Proguard7 w/ a prefilter.
If budget is the name of the game you can get hte same level of performance with an AEM Brute Force intake that has an oiless dry synthetic filter. If it gets dirty, wash it, let it dry, slap it back on. I tis the BEST PRICED system going for these trucks.
Either way I will be happy to help you with either one and if you look under the Site Sponsor Announcements you will notice that I make it a point to give EXTRA DISCOUNTS to ALL members of the military active or not.

No question the AFE Stage II in Pro Guard 7 is the best intake available. We did a year end discounted purchase on them and are passing that savings on to the customers if you want a deal etc just call.
