I have recently got into an '04 EB Expedtion. I'm aware of a feature on Lincoln's Avator that tilts down the passenger side mirror when the vehicle is put into reverse. I drove a '97 Explorer for ten years and never had a problem in parking without scraping the starboard side tires. Now that I'm into a much larger vehicle, I usually tilt down the mirror when parallel parking to see the curb.
Is there a module that I can install to automatically do the same? Is the mirror tilt trick something that comes on the Navigator platform? If so, there's gotta be an easy way to teach my EB Expedition to do the same trick.
I don't recall seeing that while scrolling through the message center system.. I know there's a way to enable/disable the reverse radar beeps. I'll check the manual as well.
Checked and it's not an option in the message center or anywhere in the manual. Oh well, I suppose I'll tilt down the mirror whenever I need it rather than wishing to be even lazier than I already am.
