New to the Excursion World

HI All

new to the forum and to the Excursion world. I currently have a 2005 f150 super-crew but this weekend i will be picking up a 2000 v10 excursion. I read someplace here that the vin code of some 2000's reflect wether or not you had a left over 1999 engine but for the life of me i can not find where i found that. could somebody please help me to locate that post or just refresh my memory

Can't help you with the engine information, but I can say welcome to the boards! I've had my X for almost a year now and love it as much today as the day I brought it home.

Are you referring to the old 275 hp V10, pre '00? I don't believe any of the Excursions the old engine.
