Excursion/Expedition mirror swap

Does anyone know if the mirrors from a 1998 Expedition will work on a 2000 Excursion? Some kind person tried to take the drivers side mirror off of my new to me Excursion. I have a 98 Expedition that is headed to the crusher, but the mirrors are in great shape.

Just look at the mounting brackets, I highly doubt it.

No, and the expedition is an oddity unto itself when it comes to mirrors, won't even swap with the F150...

I agree with this guy!!! I remember getting "new" HUMVEE's that still had Army designation markings on them.

Hold on devil dog, I'm Army Aviation... everything we do is 100%. I have to fly in what I fix, you think I'm going to cut corners on something that might fall out of the sky with me in it?

This is just plane incorrect, the Army has never EVER used HUMVEE's, not once. We have however used HMMWV, but then again to get into the Army you have to score higher on the ASVAB

Yes I know, HMMWV = High Mobility Multi Wheeled Vehicle, etc. however is it plane incorrect or PLAIN incorrect? hmmmmm! I was never too concerned with something falling from the sky as much as my 26 ton AMTRACK sinking to the bottom of the ocean therefore we always did everything as right Sa funding allowed. /not that we have hijacked this thread or anything/

I went with "plane" as a nod towards the aviation from the previous post And humvee is normal reference I was just giving you a hard time

Also, this thread has been done since day one lol. There is no way that was going to work, but at least he gave it a shot and asked
