Ooops broken mirror
Before anyone says I should have used the search link I have tried several times and keep getting the following message:
RAMBOv10, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
I was backing into the garage after already being upset with the wife and guess what happens...I brake the turn signal lens and the back of the mirror that it goes in. I know I have seen them sold somewhere seperatly on here but cant remember where. Anyone know what this will cost? Thanks for the help.

You can try ebay. I've seen lots of them there. If you want to get a brand new one from the factory, I've used directfordparts.com they have most OEM parts at a discounted prices. I can understand your frustration. I cringed when I went to get new tires for my truck and watched the service guy drive up into and then back out of the garage bay without carefully looking at the mirrors. I had to say something to him.

Thanks for info on the search, I had allready been to the first page about announcements but stupid me I didnt click on the link. I have looked at directfordparts.com, but I thought you could buy the mirrors in 3 different pieces. I guess I will stop at the dealership monday and see if they have it that way or not.

Just for future reference in case someone else does something stupid. You can get the back of the mirror with the turn signal light from Ford. The part number is 4C3Z17D742BAA for the right one, it sells for $100.50, I was lucky and knew someone that works at the dealership and got it for $66.33. I thought about the Recon lights but I doubt if they would have came with the back cover.

Yea, I worked at a dealership for 13 years so I know all about the different prices. Luckily I still know some of the guys there so I got the employee pricing.
