trailer wiring plug?

the last owner removed the trailer brakes controller
i want to put it back in
is the trailer brake controller the one on the underdash, with a plug that is bolted on the metal thingy, kinda near where your right feet is?

Yes, it is a 4 wire pigtail with either 5 or 6 pin locations.

i found it

gray plug, i can kinda see it when i took my fuse panel off, it is toward the center of the dash, and it has 6 pins, square plug, right?
