Cat Delete pipe.

Can anyone tell me where I can get a cat delete pipe that will work with the stock exhaust on my 05 6.0l? Is it the same delete pipe that works for some of the aftermarket exhaust systems? Thanks guys!

P.S. I really enjoy this site and the people that come here and the advice that is given here. Also, where would I post a question about an electrical problem that I have been having intermittently? Thanks again guys!

The AFE cat delete pipe will work with the stock setup. I would recommend just going to any muffler shop and picking up a piece of straight pipe and put it in there. This would be cheaper. DPPI or Discount Performance Parts can help you out if you want to buy one and they are site sponsers.

For the 6.0L electrical problems this would be the forum to post it. Anything related to the 6.0 is posted here.

NavyPowerstroker:

I have the Banks 4' monsyer exhaust on my 2004 F250 and was looking for a cat delete pipe and I saw pictures of your set-up in your gallery. So this MBRP cat delete pipe is the 3 1/2" pipe needed to fit into the Banks system? And all you had to do was just cut a few inches off the one end? Do you have the site you bought it off of cause this is what I'm looking for.

Actually if I were to do it again I would just go by the piece of straight pipe and put it in there in place of the cat. It would be cheaper and wouldn't have to modify it. But yes the MBRP did work for me and does look pretty good. I bought mine from Patrick at Discount Power Parts. http://www.discountpowerparts.com/

fordmustangfan67,

If you have a stock Ford system you need the AFE pipe as it will work on the stock system while the MBRP will only work on their system, design differences etc! For a Banks system and piece of straight pipe will work if it has one end expanded as a slip joint, the Banks design makes you cut the factory connection off of the cat to work so none of the pipes that fit a stock system will bolt on anymore!! Get one of our Dodge muffler deletes and you'll be set on a Banks system. Call us if you have any questions on Monday!!
