balancer interchange
I have a 1996 F-150 w/ a 4.9 litre I-6 w/a bad engine and I have a good 1995
4.9 litre I-6 engine that I am going to put into my pickup, and I was wondering
if I can use the balancer that is on the 1995 engine or do I need to use the
balancer off of the 1996 engine?

It should be the same unless there is a trigger wheel on the 96 (I don't think there is). The engines are balanced the same, so I'd say use the one that looks the best, or the one on your 96 engine if you feel most comfortable with that one.
