First off, Happy holidays to all.
I was just wondering if anyone has a simple way to adjust headlights?
One is looking for critters in the woods. The other is searching for aliens.
Don't know why they are so far out. The truck has never been hit as far as I know. 92F150,2wd,I6 TIA

I'm not really sure how you adjust the head light from side to side, but I know how to adjust it up and down. Its kinda hard to explain where it is. With the hood open, directly above the head light toward the fender there is a thin rod sticking up. I believe the top of it is a hex shape. You'll have to use a pair of plyers to grab it. I find it the easiest to use a small pair of vise grips. You can turn it and it will adjust the light up and down. I adjusted mine on a dark back road, but a side street should work too. I would move it a little and then get in the truck and see if I liked where the beam was. I don't like that using the wall trick. It will work, but never seems to end up quite how I like. If they are way out of adjustment then the wall trick will work for the most part. I forget how far you are supposed to be from the wall and how high up the beam is supposed to be. Maybe some one else can answer that for you.
Thanks texas,
I do know where the adjusters are and how to adjust. I'm pretty much looking for some sort of quick measurement guide or some simple tips to get me close.
This will get you in the ball park. Drive up to within about 2 feet of a wall and with lights on high beam mark the center of each light on the wall. Reverse in a streight line for about 20 feet and with lights on high beam adjust untill each hits your marks.
