I assume you're not the original owner who installed the air-bags. In that case, have you determined what brand air-bags you have? After you've done that, you can research the manufacturer's website for info. I don't have 'em on mine, but I do recall hearing somewhere that some folks deflate them to about 5 to 10 PSI.

Anyone else wanna' chime in with better PSI values?

these are factory installed air ride suspension in the rear of my ex.. i know that the more PSI you have in the air spring the stiffer the suspension it gets also the owner manual doesnt even tell you what the recommened PSI they should have.. anyone can shed some light?? i am at 20PSI now..

Can't be factory. T'was never a factory option.

Never go less than 5 PSI.

Since you're at 20 now, how's the stance of your truck? If you like it, keep it lik eit is. If you need more lift add more air. 65lbs is probably max but hat should be on the bag itself.

I run mine at 50#, front and rear on my 4x4 X. Makes for a very firm ride and lifts the truck up another 4 inches or so. Both kits stated to keep a minimum of 10# in the bags and the max is 100#.

Ditto the post above in that air-bags were never installed by the factory. May have been installed by a selling dealer, but not by FoMoCo.

Well holy geez, The guy at the FORD dealer in Davenport,fl told me that some EXCURSION where sold with air ride in the rear ,but it was an upgrade and was installed at the factory, so now i am onfused wheather he lied to me or what.. but either way it is professional. I dont have front airsprings only rear... this is weird...
