Back-up lights stopped working
I have just purchased a 1995 2wd with an 5.0 / Automatic. The back up lights are not working and I was wondering if anyone could tell me if there is a switch and/or relay is located on the vehicle? Currently not able to use the search function. No fuses out.
Any other suggestions?

I know you said you checked the fuses, but did you check the fuse box under the hood? There should be a 10 amp fuse there that is for the reverse lights. I had the same problem in my 96 f250 4x4, and thought the fuse was good, after crawling underneath it i found the fuse was blown, it kept blowing them over and over I found that the wire coming off of the reverse switch had frayed and was grounding out on the frame. Might try that too. Good luck

Turn the key on and have someone watch the reverse lights while you slooooowly move the lever from Park thru Reverse to Neutral and to Drive. If the lights come on somewhere in there, then you just need to adjust the switch which should be on the side of the trans where the shift selector connects.
