Anything before 1980 .. 1980 is when they became junk..Ray
The 73-79 American trucks rusted to nothing (especially the 73-76 Chevys and Dodges). I had a 75 Chev C10 and a 77 Dodge D-150 practically disappeared before my eyes. A lot of people who lived in the south or west coast and away from the ocean didn't even know it.
My favorite is the 04 and up F-150 standard cab with short bed. Standard bed trucks with standard cabs aren't popular when new but they are tomorrow's collectables when they get old (especially loaded ones with the large engines).
i like the 92-96 F series the best, buti do love my 2000 F.250 4x4, its just a tough looking and working truck, never let me down in 135,000 miles, my 1995 F.150 4x4 was my first pickup, 211,000 miles and that 302 didnt miss a beat,no noise,no nothing god i love that truck,id give anything to have it back
I love the 1992-1996 F250s and F350s. That is just one nice body style. Especially a crew cab or regular cab that is dark blue or red with the alloy wheels. I like my '01 F250's style too. The best looking truck for the year for sure.
first are 1977-79 fords, then 1987-91 fords, then 1980-86 fords, then 1974-76 fords.
(anyone seeing a parttern?) so basically 1974-91 ford trucks. I also love the late 80's-early 90's Dodge trucks (First Gen Cummins...sweet)! not a chavy fan but id take it over a damn import! my least fav. ford styling was 1997-2003, i hate the front end on those things, it looks like a swollen taurus front!
