New Ididit shifter cable
I recently installed the new Ididit shifter cable in my 55 F-100. It worked perfectly on my new ATI C-4 tranny and 2 1/4" Ididit column. The problem is that I had to remove & discard the neutral safety/backup light switch from the shifter lever, as per instructions. Is there another style of neutral safety switch that I can use, or a way to make the original switch work? The shift lever now is not long enough to reinstall original safety switch, due to adding the Ididit shifter arm. Anyone have any comments or has anyone else installed this cable shifter? THANKS JOHN
