Tasers aren't all they're cracked up to be. A good friend of mine has a son who is a cop on Indianapolis' East Side (worst part of town). He has seen guys get tasered 3-5 times with ZERO effect because they were so hopped up on drugs, same thing with pepper spray. At that point, high-speed lead is a necessity.

My neighbor was on the swat team here in Memphis. He says even lead has a hard time stopping a hopped up crack head or speed freek. They can take many bullets & still keep firing back when they are wired to the hilt.
