Hello, I am new and still not able to use the search function for some reason.
Can someone tell me where the in cab air filter is on a 2001 F250 SuperDuty?
I am starting to wonder if mine even has one as well. The parts store lists one and I brought it home but I can't figure out where it goes for the life of me. I took off the cowel panel under the windshield wiper on the passenger side of the truck. I took off the cover over the heater core behind the golve box. I don't know where else to look?
The last i knew only certain years had them. Not sure which years tho.I wanted to fab one up and install it in my truck, just dont have the time.
As far as i know it was installed on the passenger side,at the feet.
But again not sure what year has them.
Well on the 2000 & 2003 F150's you could cut the slot in the A/C intake, at the passengers feet. Slide the filter up in front of the A/C coils and there was a kit to put a door/cover over the hole w/ screws and a bracket.
Wish it were that easy to do on the F250 . . . Tech's any input?
