The fitting pushes in with a friction fit.
CarQuest Catalog:
CTS 278960 is the 5/8 x 3/4 x 1 3/4 in.(shorter than original but functional)
CTS 278963 is the 5/8 x 3/4 x 2 1/2 in. (more like original)
Some of the crossover numbers at other parts stores are not correct.
