I have 2000 f250 4x4 diesel.. 7.3L... i was wondering if anyone has hand any problems with their transfer case motor... mine doesnt seem to be engaging , so i was just wondering if this was a common thing to go on these trucks..
any input would be very helpful .. thanks
yes, i've found your pictures on the site.. this could be very helpful.. the reason im leaning towards the shift motor though, is because my dash isnt registering the change from 2wd to 4 wd on my instrument cluster.. and also i hear absolutly no attempt to shift under the truck, when i had the girlfried turn the switch for me....
sorry, i should have been more specific when i first posted.. maybe you could shed some light on the new problem
I know this is simple, but have you checked your fuses? I've searched through troubles before just to end up finding it was a fuse...and that's pretty humbling.
yes.. mine doesnt have the ESOF... its more of a pain than anything.. i wish all trucks were made with the manual shift.. anyway.. the problem might have something to do with my hubs aswell.. im going to stick some warn premiums in there instead of the auto lockers.. hopefully that will help
