The $175 Bronco, good tranny, 4wd works, 5.0L engine knocked like a ****.

Bought it (BKO) for the tranny and some body parts for this one...the $300 F150.

It runs awsome. Ive got a pair of closed chamber 289 heads, should bump the compression to around 11:1 so I can run propane. Ive got a 4" lift for it, doing the body work (half done now) and throwing some semi-gloss black down for paint.
I need a summer truck for next year, keep the 444cid powerstroke for the winter when it makes me money.

It is really quite amazing the jam that it has. It has the four speed on the floor (I am thinking a T-18), and with the 304 she can hop off the line like no-ones business. I love pulling up to the line and hopping off quicker then the rice burner beside me. I never really push it past 55 mph at the top, except for one day, it was sunny, I had the shades on, window down (and for those of you that have been in these trucks you can relate as the window was made for cruising since it is the perfect height for your left arm to rest on) and got it up to 65, but I avoid doing that.

I took it hunting once (my wife thought I was crazy) and it crawled through the bush great. I would not hesitate to take this truck on a trip. It runs better then my 2005 chev that I have for work. That POS stranded me in 100 Mile House in -30 weather. All GM could say was that I was out in "extreme weather". Ya, extreme for California.

But for being a stock IH, she is great.

already used the drivers side door and front fender, need the tranny also. The bko engine is toast, the right rear 1/4 panel is toast too, I might use the running gear under a regular cab s/b ranger for a high speed offroad toy lol...I dont know, might just advertise it for cheap as in a "get rid of it for me" type way. Ive got the door and fender off the truck on it, wouldnt be a bad base for a toy I guess...I just want something small(er than a bko) with big axles I can rally bag lol.

It was Sunday when I took the pics so nobody was around and I did not want to tromp around too much. Next time I go by when he is open I will stop in and ask for some prices. I know he was asking 2 grand for the one I like.
