no stacks, have a huge fuel transfer (tidy) tank in the box now. Stack be in the way of all the crap I need to throw in there for work. You can see my side exit infront of the rear tire.
Yeah its a '96 Powerstroke 5speed. Ive got a 4" lift for it, just need some cash to get the rest of the parts I need. Found a pair of f150 4" rear lift packs, gonna check em out, maybe add a leaf, or find some airbags.
thats what i'll be doing to mine as soon as i get the bronco finished and find the right parts. i'll prolly just bag the rear for now and go with skys 3" RSK complimented with a set of v-codes for the front to smooth out the ride.
that looks great, what kind of tires are you gonna run?
the photochop looks good, i like the two tone especially. did you just make the original tires bigger? anyways thats cool to be able to do that, get an idea of how it would look, trick
chrono man thats a fly bronco, put some NOS stickers on there for another 300 E-hp. lol
Actually Id love to find a 70s fullsize...people are smart and restore them and sell for a massive profit tho.
I settled for a 1990 5L bronco, only cost me $175.
Sn0wMan I took those stock tires/wheels and englarged them, then shrunk the rims back down to about the stock size. If you look close at the rear wheel you can see a darker circle in the middle from shrinking the wheels back down. That two tone was supposed to be like a dark charcoal/gunmetal metallic color, but the darker I went the worse it looked from saturation (blotchy). So its like a copper-grey. I wanted to put rims on it too, but couldnt find any I liked at the right angle for the front. Photoshop is great, you can do all kinds of stuff to see what it would look like. Im still working on a nice paint scheme, I like that two tone but I want some kind of line to seperate the top color from the white insert.
Fishyguy, What year bronco? My buddy has some 4" leaf packs for an F150, I dont know if they are AAL or properly built packs. Ultimately I would like to get a 4" pack in the back so I can pull the 4" block and put a 2" one it, and do a shackle flip. My front spring packs have 5 leafs per, over my stock 3. They should work well under a diesel, and if they dont lift it 4" Im going to get some longer front shackles to finish the ride height off, and help ease spring compression for a smoother ride.
Now I just need someone to buy my tires so I can get my lift in. My friend with the steel fab shop is off at school too so that puts a crimp in my progress, can get the parts made.
