I bought a kit from a site sponsor for $300 shipped just cause I knew there wouldn't be any hidden charges. Had everything I could have possible needed. Included things I never would have thought about.
My experience with ebay is you can find good deals but you ultimately get what you pay for. And don't forget to figure in shipping and handling. Ususally what you save in price, they make up in handling charges.
Just food for thought
OK here's my take on it, you have an expensive truck with a high dollar engine and you're getting gauges to make sure you don't hurt it right?? Don't cut corners on what tells you what is going on under the hood, a good set or name brand gauges will cost 40-80.00 more but it is money weeeeeeel spent! Plus if you get them from a diesel specialists like us you'll get all the little things you need to insatll them all the way down to the correct color matching paints for the mounts and you'll save a ton of "trips to the hardware store" time too! If you have any questions just call.

1. Autometer's mechanical boost gauge (ultralight) sucks.
2. You really do get what you paid for in accuracy.
3. Peak/Hold/Warning gauges rock, plain and simple. They keep thigh high value stored in memory and flash a light when you go over a set parameter. Right now I'm using GReddy gauges until I can afford a Defi gauge package in my car, then I'll transfer my GReddy's to my truck, til I win the lottery and put Defi's in the truck also.
4. Make sure your EGT gauge goes high enough. I recommend one showing to 1200 degrees celcius/2200 degrees farenheit. Autometer's doesn't show high enough (for my car at least, I hold around 900 at WOT, don't know what diesels like though), though they may have fixed this...
5. Don't skimp on safety.
